Recruitment and time table

The members of the Consortium can access to the electronic application form of the candidates. The form includes a section, invisible to the students and used to follow-up the recruitment procedure and during the whole academic career of the student. The whole recruitment process is managed online.



Candidates are divided in two categories: (A): Non European students and (B): European students.

The recruitment process for both categories is the same, except for the timetable, as specified in the following.








Category A Students (Non European)

  • January, 2nd, 2010: Application deadline
  • January: 3rd-14th: Candidates are ranked, and up to 200 among them will be shortlisted for the oral interview. A member of the Consortium will contact the shortlisted students via email, and a date and time for the interview will be agreed upon.
  • January: 15th-24th: The interviews will run via videoconference. The structure of the interview shall follow a pre-established canvas prepared by the Consortium.
  • January: 25th-30th: Deliberation on acceptance and formation of a list of successful candidates to be proposed for a scholarship. An additional list of candidates will be generated, as well, as a backup of the previous one. The candidates will be informed immediately.
  • January, 31st: Transmission of the scholarship applications to the European Agency;
  • Mid-March: Notification of the final selection outcomes.


Category B Students (European)

  • April, 15th: Application deadline
  • April: 16th-30th: Candidates are ranked, and up to 200 among them will be shortlisted for the oral interview. A member of the Consortium will contact the shortlisted students via email, and a date and time for the interview will be agreed upon.
  • May: 1st-15th: The interviews will run via videoconference. The structure of the interview shall follow a pre-established canvas prepared by the pedagogical council.
  • May: 16-30th: deliberation on acceptance and selection of a subset of successful candidate students to be proposed for a scholarship. An reserve list of candidates will be generated. The candidates will be informed immediately.
  • May, 31st: Transmission of the scholarship application form to the European Agency;
  • July, at the begining: Notification of the final selection outcomes


For all students

  • August, 30th-31st: Arrival of the Students in Lyon
  • September, 1st- 4th: Welcome week and enrollment
  • September, 4th: Departure by train of the students assigned to Nantes & Paris
  • September, 6th: Classes start everywhere
